Gurihmart: Empowering Merchants with Smart Retail Solutions

Gurihmart is a mobile app concept designed to support small and local merchants by providing them with an integrated platform for product purchasing and credit access. The goal was to design a new digital product that simplifies retail ordering while enabling merchants to buy goods on credit with a predefined limit. This app aims to make purchasing more flexible for small business owners.

The main challenge was to design a flow that balances shopping convenience and financial responsibility. Since the app involves a credit system, it was essential to communicate credit limits, repayment details, and order statuses clearly. Another challenge was ensuring that merchants — who may have varying levels of digital literacy — could navigate the app easily while still maintaining a professional fintech-grade visual identity.

The design process began with mapping key user flows for browsing, purchasing, and credit management. The interface was structured to prioritize product discovery and order visibility, supported by clear indicators for available credit and repayment schedules. A clean, minimal, and trustworthy visual style was used to balance the commercial and financial aspects of the platform.
